DESCRIPTION
In the spring of 1977, Austinite and young mother of five, Sammie Gayle Dwyer, put her accounting degree and fearlessness into action. Witnessing long lines of cars waiting at every gas station due to a strangling national gas shortage, and a country just waking up from a crushing recession, Sammie was intrigued by the question, how will people be able to continue their beloved weekend pastime of shopping on a dime at area garage sales? Her idea was to bring a large number of these garage sales together in one location, and so the City-Wide Garage Sale® was born!

VENDOR INFORMATION
It’s simple!
We require vendors to sell second-hand, vintage, antique or used merchandise. If you wish to sell Upcycled, repurposed or handmade items, we ask that you submit photos with your application for approval.
We require a Texas Sales Tax Permit at the time of registration.
We require vendors to remain set-up and open for business for the entire duration of the show.

Many of our vendors have been around with us since the very beginning. That’s almost half a century of selling.
We have a 40-year reputation for great advertising, assisted move/in, move/out, great sales floor atmosphere, and help for you on every level. Supporting your sales goals is our focus!
Our vendors are the life of the show. Each show is like a small-town community. You are invited to come to sell your treasures with us and become a valued member of the City-Wide community.
