YOUR NEXT POP-UP

My name is Analisa Wade, Spelman College alumna and owner of the brand Asilana Nail Bar & Lounge.

Asilana is a nail bar and lounge that takes a different spin on the typical nail salon visit by offering restaurant-style service in the nail and spa environment. I wanted to create a safe space for women to relax and feel completely free with their bodies, form a beauty experience, and allow them to have a comfortable space to network with one another. What differentiates us from other nail salons is that we focus primarily on the experience, encouraging guests to come in their robe or favorite pajamas along with friends while they relax with food and beverage among other women.

For our pop-up shop this fall, we will have create a mock experience for our guests with a DJ, specialty cocktails, wine, makeup/makeovers, our licensed nail techs for gel manicures, regular manicures, henna tattoos and more. Part of the proceeds with go to Seeds of Fortune, a non-profit organization that helps high school minority girls in the New York area with mentoring, college applications, etiquette class, and scholarships for school.
