My name is Penny Cordova and I am a jewelry designer and metalsmith living in Houston, Texas, where my unique artisan jewelry is handcrafted with love and my own two hands in my home studio. I studied Metal Arts and Jewelry Design at Houston Community College and also worked for a couple of years as a Jewelry/Metalsmithing instructor at a local Houston maker space, during which time I greatly enjoyed being able to share my knowledge and love of art and jewelry with the community.

I’m inspired by exotic places, cultures, architectural design, and the endless beauty of nature. I work in different mediums to express my interest in and love for nature and especially gemstones. I use traditional and modern techniques such as forging, soldering, stone setting, enameling, and wire wrapping to bring my ideas to life. My designs are bold, colorful, one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art because life’s too short for boring jewelry.
