Our Story
In late 2020 at the height of the pandemic, I checked myself into an inpatient treatment center for drug rehabilitation services. I was on a dark path and scarred from a seemingly endless cycle of social isolation. I picked up my first Pothos from Home Depot to give my temporary room some life and instantly fell in love. I learned so much about self-care through nurturing, growing, and sustaining the lives of delicate tropical plants. I found my ‘higher power’ in ornamental horticulture. Now, my end goal is to share what plants continue to give me in recovery with others – a powerful mental health boost and a stronger appreciation for self-care and the natural world around us.

Monstera Truck is a new vibe of plant shop, on wheels and online, focused on bringing uncommon tropical plants to people across the country. The online Monstera Truck store on Etsy ships unrooted and rooted plant cuttings and healthy, fully established plants to customers domestically across the United States with a commitment to free shipping on all orders over $35.00 USD.
Coming soon to Southern California is the original Monstera Truck(™️) , a mobile retail pop-up experience bringing the joy of shopping for weird and wonderful tropical plants to people throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Monstera Truck, LLC was founded in 2021 and is a business operation CDFA licensed to sell nursery stock, committed to providing high-quality, attention-grabbing, and quirky plants for shoppers to add to their homes and personal collections.
